Inside Peru Adventures
Booking policies, payments, cancellations, refunds, and travel conditions for journeys with Inside Peru Adventures.s.
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, our digital communication channels, and the booking of our travel services, including treks, tours, train journeys, cultural experiences, and multi-day travel packages in Peru. By requesting information, making a reservation, submitting payment, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Reservations may be made through our website, email, WhatsApp, or other official communication channels managed by Inside Peru Adventures. A booking request is considered received once the traveler submits the required personal and travel information. However, a reservation is only considered confirmed once:
- Availability has been reconfirmed by Inside Peru Adventures
- The required deposit or payment has been received
- The traveler has provided the required booking information
- Inside Peru Adventures issues written confirmation by email or official message
Before written confirmation is issued, no booking should be considered guaranteed.

- Passport number or ID number, where applicable
- Nationality and date of birth
- Email address and phone / WhatsApp number
- Emergency contact information
- Travel dates and selected itinerary
- Special dietary, medical, or accommodation requests, when applicable
Travelers are fully responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and complete. Inside Peru Adventures is not responsible for denied entry, permit problems, extra charges, or losses caused by incorrect personal information.
A 30% deposit per person is required to confirm any trek, tour, or multi-day package. This deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances. The deposit is used to secure services in advance, including:
- Machu Picchu entrance tickets
- Inca Trail permits
- Train tickets and transportation reservations
- Hotel bookings and flights, where applicable
- Staffing and logistical arrangements
If a traveler cancels, the deposit may not be refunded, transferred to another person, transferred to another reservation, or used as credit for another traveler, unless expressly approved in writing.
The required 30% deposit may be paid through: Bank transfer, Cash, Credit card, Debit card, or PayPal.
If paying via PayPal, a 5.5% transaction fee applies and must be covered by the traveler. Any bank transfer fees, exchange rate differences, or payment platform costs must also be covered by the traveler.
The remaining balance must be fully paid in Peru at least 2 days before the tour start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Preferred final payment method: Cash. If paying by card, a 5% transaction fee applies.
Inside Peru Adventures accepts Peruvian Soles and US Dollars. We do not accept torn, damaged, or defaced bills. No traveler may begin a tour or trek without having completed the required payment conditions.
Prices are per person, quoted in the currency specified, and based on the services listed in the itinerary or booking confirmation. Optional upgrades, add-ons, extra hotel nights, private services, or route modifications may incur additional charges.
Inside Peru Adventures reserves the right to correct pricing errors before confirming a booking.
Some packages may include domestic flights within Peru. Domestic airfares are dynamic and may vary depending on travel season, route demand, booking date, and airline availability.
If the actual airfare is higher than the allowance included in the package, the traveler must pay the difference before ticket issuance. Once issued, domestic airline tickets are subject to the airline's own fare rules and may be non-refundable and non-transferable.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@insideperuadventures.com. The 30% deposit is always non-refundable. Refunds on remaining balance paid:
